I can’t believe over a month has passed since we launched! Lisalebowdesigns.com is off to a great start- thank you everyone for your continued support and encouragement.
On the personal side, Simon and I took our long awaited trip to London. How can I not report back on what a mecca for fashion savvy gals London truly is! The trends didn’t veer too far from what you might see in L.A., S.F or N.Y., but the women sure know how to flaunt their stuff. From Boho Chic to City Sleek , the Brit ladies are full of confidence and attitude!
All around the city, day or night, the girls were dressed up and ready to hit the town. Short skirts and high heels seemed to be the hot trend and lets not forget to mention the array of accessories: loads of layered chains was the obvious choice (gold, silver, gunmetal- you name it, they wore it!), along with bold, dangling earrings. The chandelier look is a still a front runner in merry ol’ London, even after being on the fashion scene for the past few years.
Besides being on the look out on the fashion scene, our primary focus was Wimbledon (tennis is my second passion to jewelry design). Both Federer and Roddick (top two house favorites- my hubby is Swiss afterall) did quite well, although only one of them could win. We were fortunate to be spectators at both the quarter and semi-final matches – witnessing “Murray Mania” firsthand (although still cheering for Roger and the “other” Andy).
Now that I’m back home, it’s time for the summer trunk shows to heat up. Check back soon for updates on future events and new designs.
